    Preparing mustard sauce for potatoes. Peel the garlic cloves, pass them through a press, finely chop them with a knife or grate them on a fine grater. Wash the lemon thoroughly with soap and running water. Grate the zest on a fine grater, cut off the top of the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave and cool.

I prepared a wonderful side dish for lunch - potatoes with gravy in the oven. The aromas in the apartment are beyond words! And it's all about the mustard gravy in which the potatoes were baked. In addition to mustard, it contains garlic, herbs, lemon juice, butter and vegetable oil. The potatoes turned out very tasty. We ate it all in one sitting with great pleasure. I boiled my potatoes a little beforehand, literally for 5 minutes. Then I placed it in a greased baking dish and poured over the gravy. I made the gravy according to the recipe, but instead of grainy mustard I took regular mustard, replaced the lemon with ready-made lemon juice, and used dried parsley, basil and paprika as herbs. I baked the potatoes in the oven until they acquired a crispy crust. This took me a little longer than indicated in the recipe, which I attribute to the peculiarity of my oven. Great recipe! I advise everyone to try it!
