STEP 1

One orange has been zested.
STEP 2

In a bowl, mix the zest, soft butter and sugar. Beat well with a mixer.
STEP 3

Add one egg at a time and continue beating.
STEP 4

Add the juice of the same orange.
STEP 5

Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix the dough well.
STEP 6

Grease the mold with a small amount of butter or margarine and sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out.
STEP 7

Cut the second orange into thin slices and decorate the top of the pie.
STEP 8

Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes, check for readiness with a wooden stick. The orange pie is ready. Cool slightly, brush with honey if desired and serve.
