STEP 1

Prepare all products. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content. This recipe uses full-fat homemade sour cream. You also need to prepare a baking dish and line it with parchment paper or foil. Turn on the oven, select a temperature of 180 degrees.

Crack a raw chicken egg into a mixing bowl. It can be whipped either with a mixer or by hand with a whisk. The main thing is to achieve homogeneity, that is, to combine the white with the yolk.
STEP 3

Place a glass of sour cream on a plate with an egg, add a small amount of salt. Mix the products with a spoon.
STEP 4

Pour baking powder and sugar into the basic mixture. Stir the contents until smooth. Sugar dissolves quickly in sour cream. I would like to note that baking soda must be added immediately with sour cream so that it is extinguished.
STEP 5

Sift wheat flour through a sieve. Add 1-2 tablespoons into the dough and stir until smooth.
STEP 6

The result is an airy, thick and tender dough. Place it in the prepared pan. You can bake the cake in a silicone mold, then you won't need baking paper.
STEP 7

The sour cream pie is baked for approximately 25-30 minutes. And for it to brown well, you need to leave it with the heat off for 5-10 minutes. Remove the paper and place the pie on a plate. Cut the pie into pieces and serve with tea. Bon appetit!
