Lenten borscht with beans and cabbage

Vary the borscht with beans for a tasty and satisfying first course! I live in Ukraine. Our signature dish is, of course, borscht. I love him so much. What’s interesting to observe is that each housewife has her own version of how to cook borscht with beans, the recipe is different from what I cook. And in every case it is delicious.

Beans in borscht are very tasty. Thanks for the recipe. I would also suggest putting not a clove of garlic, but its “infusion”. It’s very simple - before cooking, cut or crush a clove and add a small amount of boiled water. The borscht will be more flavorful.

For me, this borscht is a real discovery! I didn’t even suspect that you could add beans to it. I’ve also never made frying with sour cream... Very interesting, I’ll definitely try to cook it.

Borscht according to this recipe is undoubtedly delicious. The only thing is that I thought there wasn’t enough cabbage, but otherwise it was great.

It turned out very tasty. Instead of potatoes, I used radishes because I don’t eat potatoes. I think it turned out no worse, thanks

Yes, borscht - on the Russian table - is a sign of prosperity, praise to the housewife who loves and knows how to cook it. Thank you for the recipe, it has everything I like: beans, red beets, and garlic. I cooked it the other day and I added a little prunes to add a little sweetness and somehow diversify the Lenten table, this is what I got...
