Kvass without straining with yeast and malt
A refreshing drink for the family on the hottest day! I propose to prepare delicious Kvass from malt with yeast without straining. This drink will perfectly quench your thirst during the hot season.
Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 2 day
STEP 1
Take the following ingredients: water, dry yeast, sugar, rye malt.
STEP 2
Bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat.
STEP 3
Pour rye malt into hot water. Mix well so that there are no lumps. Cool to 35-38 degrees.
STEP 4
Pour about 150 ml of warm solution and dissolve the yeast. Stir and leave for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5
Dissolve sugar in a warm solution, adjust to your taste.
STEP 6
Pour in the yeast solution. Mix well. Leave for a day at room temperature.
STEP 7
Then pour into bottles, close the lid and refrigerate for another 1 day, if you can stand it.
STEP 8
Kvass from rye malt is ready at home.
