Kufliki cookies made from unsweetened dough with sour cream

This pastry can be prepared both for a holiday and for every day! This recipe is quite simple, but I was attracted by the name - kufliki. Sounds kind of funny. I don't know why this pastry is called that. But for me this word is consonant with “chubby”. Such plump cookies. They are prepared from unsweetened dough with sour cream, and for the filling you can use thick jam or jam, nuts or dried fruits, as well as ground poppy seeds with sugar.

    STEP 9

On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out the dough thinly (0.5 cm). First, spread the jam, not reaching the edges of the dough, because... When twisted, the jam may “run away”. It is better to take thick jam or strain the berries.

    STEP 14

Similarly, roll into a tight roll and cut.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

I divided the third part of the dough in half and made 2 bagel rolls. Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. oven for about 25-30 minutes.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

The rosy kufliki are ready. Cookies may be ready earlier, depending on the thickness of the roll and the characteristics of the oven.

    STEP 17

Cooled kufliki can be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
