    I knead the dough in a bread machine and bake it in the oven. I put all the ingredients in a bowl and put it on the “dough” program. It takes me 1.5 hours. Half an hour after the start of kneading, the result was a bun like this.

Indeed, whey makes very tasty bread. I bake this in a bread machine, but I add fried onions as an addition. Since I got a bread machine, my family only requires whey bread with onions.
