STEP 1

Peel the onion and cut into large pieces.
STEP 3
We chop the hare into several large parts (kidney, legs, shoulder blades), cut off the films, wash and blot with a paper towel or napkins to remove water.
STEP 4
Place the meat in a deep cup. For the marinade, mix vinegar with cold water. After this, pour the marinade over the hare and leave it for 2-3 hours in a cool place, you can put it in the refrigerator.
STEP 5
Then remove the hare pieces from the marinade, dry with a kitchen towel and place on a baking sheet, add salt and pre-chopped roots and onions, pour in oil and fry in a preheated oven until a beautiful golden brown crust forms. While frying, periodically pour the hare pieces with the juice that comes out of the meat.
STEP 6
Place the roasted hare in a saucepan. Add the juice that formed during frying to the sour cream and pour this mixture over the meat. Then simmer covered for approximately 25-30 minutes in the oven. As you can see, you don’t have to be a hunter to know how to cook a hare stewed in sour cream. Any housewife can handle this!
