Grilled quail
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
We take the quail carcasses, wash them, cut off the excess parts (neck, etc.), dry them with a paper towel and start marinating.
STEP 2
Rub the carcasses with salt, freshly ground pepper, spices, chopped garlic. Pour in vegetable oil and put in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours. Of course, it will be better for a day - then the quail will be especially tasty :)
STEP 3
We take the marinated carcasses out of the refrigerator and place them on the preheated grill. A grill pan or a regular frying pan will also work (in this case, the carcasses will lack the appetizing stripes that are characteristic of dishes cooked on the grill). It will be great if you cook this recipe outdoors using a barbecue!
STEP 4
Fry until done. This averages 8-11 minutes (it can take up to 20 minutes - it depends on the cooking temperature, the size of the quails and the desired degree of readiness). Season with freshly ground pepper and serve. You can use fresh vegetables or a light salad as a side dish. You can cook baked vegetables - if you allow, I will share simple and tasty recipes :) Bon appetit everyone!
