  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make garlic tincture with vodka? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Vodka must be of high quality, and it is better to take juicy, fresh garlic. Mint is added to improve the aroma (if possible). They brought it to me later and I added a sprig after filming the recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the garlic from husks and films. Remove damaged areas from the cloves with a knife.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Rinse the garlic cloves under cool running water, drain in a colander, or pat dry with paper towels. Do not neglect this procedure; for a good result, the raw materials must be clean.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then you need to chop the garlic. It’s faster, of course, to squeeze it through a press. Despite the fact that any tincture must be filtered, small particles will make it cloudy. Therefore, I prefer to cut thin slices with a knife; the garlic will release the juice perfectly and the tincture will be easy to filter.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Take a clean and dry glass jar, pour chopped garlic into it and fill it with vodka. Mix well.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The vodka should completely cover the garlic. To prevent the alcohol from evaporating, cover the jar with cellophane, then close the lid tightly. Let the garlic steep in a dark place at room temperature for 10 days. Every 2 - 3 days, do not forget to shake the jar.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

After 10 days, take out a jar of infused liquid and strain it through several layers of gauze. Pour the resulting tincture into a bottle and leave in the refrigerator for 4 days. It is recommended to take the tincture 3 times a day, half an hour before meals, 10 drops, adding them to 1 tbsp. milk (so as not to burn the walls of the stomach). It is believed that it is a general tonic. It is recommended to drink it for a course of 1 month. Store the tincture in the refrigerator.
