But what to do if there is ice, but there is nothing from berries and fruits except watermelon? Well... it turns out you can make fresh watermelon. I was pleasantly surprised: it turned out easy, but interesting.

    First, squeeze the juice from half a lime (or lemon, but lime has a milder taste) and mix it with granulated sugar. If you’re not too lazy to fuss, you can even heat it up to make a syrup, and then cool it - but I already WANTED IT COLD!... In short, without syruping everything is okay too.

    Cut out the flesh from the watermelon and remove the seeds, if any. We don’t go close to the crust, we only take the sweet stuff.

    Watermelon pulp should be ground in a blender or food processor.

    Then mix it with sugar-citrus “sweetener” and stir well with a spoon. If you have the opportunity to sufficiently enlarge the photo, you can see the measuring divisions on the pan - it turns out to be about 600 ml.

Made it yesterday with the whole family) Delicious and healthy....perfectly refreshing. But we made it without ice, the watermelon was from the refrigerator, so the drink turned out to be cold... and if you let it brew for another night along with mint, a pleasant minty note will appear. I had no idea that fresh watermelon was so delicious! This is a wonderful drink that perfectly quenches thirst in the summer heat. The watermelon season has begun; now we’ll have something to use to make such refreshing drinks. Citrus notes complement the taste of watermelon well. Instead of ice, I used special cubes for whiskey; they do not melt, so the fresh juice is not diluted with water. The children also liked the watermelon drink, which is good, especially since it is very healthy. Wonderful recipe, I'll use it)
