This is really something new. I’m a big fan of fried dough, so I’m adding the recipe to my cookbook. At first, looking at the photo, I thought that these were my favorite stuffed bagels. I actually thought that choux pastry could only be boiled, to be honest. Another question: what is garlic powder? Do you have to buy it or can you make it yourself?

Kykla, I am very pleased that you liked my recipe! Thank you!!! It’s better to buy such powder; I don’t know how it can be made at home, but you can replace it simply with garlic passed through a garlic press.

Did not like! The dough without salt is somewhat sweet, after frying it looks like a paste. When I poured boiling water into the flour, I couldn’t mix it well with a spoon. The dough immediately became lumpy. I tried to knead it with my hands - it was impossible, it was too hot. I waited for it to cool down a little, and then kneaded it. But my hands are still hot. The recipe says to stir first with a spoon and then with your hands. Cool afterwards. And then how to knead? It's a pity about the spoiled products. Nobody started eating.
