  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make candy from baby formula? Prepare all the necessary products. For accurate calculations, I recommend using a kitchen scale. So, sift the baby formula into a bowl. This is necessary in order to ensure that there are no unnecessary impurities in the mixture.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In the same way, through a fine-mesh strainer, sift 50 grams of cocoa powder into a bowl. At first it may seem like there is a lot of cocoa, but it is not. It will be just right. The rest will remain for sprinkling the candies. If you want to completely coat the candy in cocoa rather than just dust it on like I do, then you will need more cocoa. I think in this case, you will need about 20 grams of cocoa extra.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add powdered sugar and vanilla. I added vanilla sugar, thinking that since there wasn’t very much of it, it would have time to dissolve. But, unfortunately, this did not happen, and the sugar squeaked a little on my teeth. For me this is not critical, but for many it will be unacceptable. Therefore, I advise you to use only vanillin. Add it at the tip of the knife, otherwise it may add bitterness to the finished dish.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Next add soft butter. It is soft, not liquid. To achieve the desired consistency of butter, simply remove the piece from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you start making the candy and leave it at room temperature.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Stir the mixture thoroughly with a tablespoon until smooth. The consistency of the candy mixture should resemble a soft Potato cake. If the mixture is too runny, add a little more baby formula. And if, on the contrary, it is too thick, then add about a teaspoon of milk.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Now all that remains is to form the candies. I chose a spherical shape and a medium size candy. I took approximately the same amount of mixture (half a tablespoon each) and rolled the balls with my hands. In the end, I got exactly 15 neat candies. Place them in the refrigerator for an hour, after which they can be served, sprinkled with cocoa powder through a strainer. Bon appetit!

Simply a great baby formula candy recipe! I tried several options, but this one is the easiest and fastest. I liked that you don’t need to cook the syrup, all the ingredients are “raw”. The proportions are easy to remember and the description is very detailed; even a child can handle the preparation. I sifted all bulk products, as the author advises. This activity turned out to be useful, the mixture was a little lumpy and there were hard lumps in the cocoa. It also seemed to me that the recipe indicated too much cocoa, but then it became clear that there was just the right amount of cocoa. I took into account the advice of adding vanillin instead of vanilla sugar. The mixture quickly kneaded and came together into a ball. I measured everything on the scales, I didn’t have to add anything, the recipe was accurate. I formed the candies using a 15 ml measuring spoon. It turned out to be 20 pieces, I ate one to try) The balls formed easily, after cooling they became even harder. I decided not to roll it in cocoa, but just sprinkle it on. The taste of the candy is, well, very chocolatey, reminiscent of truffles. You can’t eat too many of them at once, the sweets are filling. The sweetness of the powdered sugar and the bitterness of the cocoa are balanced. The mixture gives a milky creamy flavor. It seems to me that this is the most successful recipe for baby formula candies, I recommend it.
