If you have well-developed imagination, imagination and taste, then you won’t need to look for recipes for fruit canapés to create beautiful compositions for the holiday table. The most important thing is, perhaps, the compatibility of colors. But, on the other hand, sometimes freedom in choosing a color scheme can be justified. After all, it will still be delicious, right?) Of course, we should not forget about the harmonious correspondence of flavors. For example, pineapple doesn’t “sound” very well with lemon. Although this is a matter of individual taste.
If you are planning to prepare a fruit canapé (it would be better to use special skewers or long toothpicks for this), worry about it in advance and buy a wide variety of fruits and berries. The more there are, the better. For example, these could be bananas, apples, pears, strawberries, kiwis, peaches, tangerines, raspberries, grapes, and so on. Colors: white, yellow, green, red, purple, orange. It is not very good to use berries with pits such as cherries in such compositions. It’s better to take sultanas as grapes. It is also advisable to cut the fruits into more or less small pieces. Cut large strawberries into two halves.
If you want your fruit canapés to look neat and stylish, use this advice. Cut them into pieces of equal thickness. Cut off the top of the largest disposable syringe. And alternately squeeze a circle out of each fruit piece, alternating colors. When the syringe is full, pierce all the fruits in it with a skewer and carefully squeeze out the contents with the plunger. You will get spectacular “towers” that you will need to eat quickly.
Remember that canapés on skewers are best prepared immediately before serving - so that the fruit does not dry out. To prevent some of them from turning black, sprinkle them with lemon juice.
