STEP 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients. Peel the pears and cut them into slices.
STEP 2
Beat the butter and sugar at maximum speed for about 2 minutes. Add one egg at a time, beating thoroughly each time.
STEP 3
Add the flour sifted with baking powder and mix at the minimum speed of the mixer.
STEP 4
Add rum and mix again.
STEP 5
Place the dough in the mold, place the pears on top and bake at 175 degrees for about 45 minutes, check the readiness with a wooden stick, it should be dry.
STEP 6

I really love this cake, it’s so tender and fragrant, I bake it the same way, but instead of rum I add cognac, it turns out very tasty too, I’ll have to try it with rum
