Oreo milk jelly
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare all ingredients. Milk can be used at any fat content or replaced with cream. Instead of regular white sugar, you can use brown sugar, then the dessert will take on a more chocolatey appearance.
STEP 2
Pour sugar into milk and put it on fire. When the milk is hot, add agar-agar and bring the milk to a boil. Cook, stirring, for several minutes until the agar-agar is completely dissolved. This is the difference between agar-agar and gelatin, which should never be boiled.
STEP 3
While the milk is heating and the agar-agar is cooking, separate the cookie halves. Place one half, greased with cream, in silicone molds with the inscription facing down. Place the other half, without cream, in a bag and crush it into crumbs with a rolling pin. Remove the milk from the heat and leave to cool at room temperature. Then whisk.
STEP 4
The milk will immediately begin to foam and an air cap will appear. You can use a mixer instead of a whisk. Add cookie crumbs and stir. Agar-agar jelly begins to set already at room temperature, so don’t miss this moment.
STEP 5
Pour into molds and place in the refrigerator. The jelly will harden in 15 minutes. I got 8 molds with a volume of 50 ml. You can immediately enjoy the unforgettable milk chocolate taste.
