Milk dessert made with gelatin and red currants
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

To prepare a milk dessert made with gelatin with red currants you will need: heavy cream, milk, sugar, gelatin, water, red currant berries.
STEP 2

Pour gelatin with boiled water at room temperature to swell for 20 minutes.
STEP 3

Combine the cream with milk, add 35 grams of sugar. Heat the mixture over low heat, without bringing it to a boil. At the same time, stir frequently.
STEP 4

Dissolve the gelatin in a water bath or over very low heat with constant stirring. Do not bring to a boil.
STEP 5

Add the dissolved gelatin into the milk mass and mix well. Cool to room temperature.
STEP 6

We sort the red currant berries from the branches, wash them, and dry them.
STEP 7

Place the berries in a saucepan and add the remaining sugar. Place over medium heat and bring the berries to a boil. Boil the mixture over low heat until the berries soften and the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 8

We rub the berry mass through a sieve.
STEP 9

We get berry puree.
STEP 10

We leave part of the milk mass for mixing with berry puree. Pour the rest into prepared molds. You can place the molds at a slight angle.
STEP 11

Place the bowls in the refrigerator to cool. In 1.5-2 hours the mass will harden well.
STEP 12

Combine the remaining milk mass with berry puree and mix.
STEP 13

Pour the colored layer onto the frozen jelly and put it back in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
STEP 14

Decorate the finished dessert with red currant branches. Bon appetit!
