I always prepare sauerkraut for the winter. I definitely add horseradish to it so that the cabbage is crispy. But I want something new. This recipe interested me. Somehow unusual for cabbage. I decided to take a risk, especially since the costs for this dish are minimal. I made it strictly according to the recipe. Now we will wait for winter to experience the full taste of cooked cabbage. I think we need to add chili pepper seasoning to the recipe for spiciness. I'll experiment with this soon.

I once tried to make such cabbage, it turned out very tasty. There was a little left, and the next day my husband’s friends showed up. I had to take everything out of the refrigerator that would be suitable for a snack. We were so delighted with the cabbage, we demanded more! Great recipe! Just what I need right now. I really love cabbage and so I decided to make so-called sauerkraut. Not knowing the recipe and not having much experience in the kitchen, I turned to search here and voila! As for this recipe, is it necessary to put onions in the salad? It must undergo heat treatment, as far as I know, after cooking the onion acquires a not very pleasant smell, at least I don’t like it. If you don't add onions, will the taste of the salad change much in this case?
