  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make homemade lemonade from oranges? Prepare everything you need for this. For the lemonade itself, only one orange is needed. But if you want to add a few slices to the carafe or glasses, then have an extra one in stock. For lemonade, choose a larger orange. For me it weighs 280 grams. Rinse it thoroughly and pour boiling water over it.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place the orange in the freezer for 2-3 hours to freeze. Then remove and let it come to room temperature so it can be easily sliced. Why freeze an orange? After defrosting, more juice will come out of it and the bitterness that comes from the peel will go away.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the defrosted orange into pieces, remove the seeds and place in the chopper bowl.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grind the orange until fine. There is no need to puree it.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the chopped orange in a saucepan and pour in 500 ml of water. Stir and leave to stand for 30-40 minutes to allow the drink to infuse.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then strain the drink through a fine sieve. Add another 1.5 liters of water, sugar and citric acid to the strained drink. Mix everything well until the sugar dissolves and put the drink in the refrigerator to brew a little and cool. The amount of sugar depends on your taste and the sweetness of the orange itself.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

For quick cooling, add a few ice cubes to the glass of the drink. This drink can be stored for 24 hours at room temperature. But it drinks much faster. Enjoy your meal!

Warm days have arrived and I wanted to make a light, refreshing drink. For this I chose homemade orange lemonade. I did everything as described by the author. What was interesting and unusual was that the orange had to be cooled in the freezer. What I really liked about this recipe is that it does not boil and all the benefits of citrus fruits remain in the drink. The children and I really liked the lemonade. Summer is ahead, so I'm taking note of this recipe!

Hi all! I didn’t even expect that the lemonade would be so tasty and aromatic! There remains a slight aftertaste from the bitterness of the peel (even though I poured boiling water over the orange and froze for 3 hours, in principle the taste is very good), next time I’ll try it without it. Cooked in boiled, cold water. The color turned out great! A good recipe, especially for summer. Thank you.

In the summer heat, this drink is so pleasantly refreshing!!! I prepare it the same way, but instead of citric acid I just add lemon juice
