Bread with olives

Mediterranean olive bread for health and longevity. I recently watched a children's program on TV in which a boy from Cyprus told how they spend Sunday as a family. Well, while he and his father were walking in the park, my mother and grandmother were preparing dinner. I was attracted to the bread that my grandmother made. There was no mention of a recipe, but I noticed how, when kneading, she put olives in the dough and poured olive oil. This fact intrigued me so much that I didn’t find peace until I baked the olive bread myself and tried it. Not knowing the TV recipe, I prepared it according to the classic recipe for baking bread, adding olives and olive oil.

Anahit, the bread turned out very beautiful! So tanned, I can imagine how crispy the crust is... mmm... I love homemade bread, I often add olive oil too, it’s especially flavorful with extra virgin olive oil! But I’ve never added olives, it’s just that no one in my family eats them, but I think that it would be easier to add them to the already kneaded dough, because without them it’s much easier to knead it thoroughly until smooth

Yes, Irisha, finally baked the bread with olives that had been haunting me. It turned out to be very tasty and moderately aromatic, although in my opinion it should have been richer. But there were more olives (I bought them by weight, so it’s easier to see what you’re buying), it’s just that, without knowing it, they ate more than half of mine. And of course it’s easier to knead without olives, although I didn’t experience any difficulties when kneading with olives. My friends called me “darkness”, saying that bread with olives had been on sale for a long time, then, laughing, they praised me, saying that my bread was much tastier. And I, as I see, really “darkness”, there are so many recipes for bread with olives in Khrumka

Anait, don’t worry, but you have your own branded bread, I think the olives in it betrayed their note of the sunny branch of the world and the taste of the bread came out specific - buttery, it’s so pleasant to eat soups and any first courses, the main thing was fulfilled )))

Anahit, finally baked some bread) with olive oil, but without olives, I don’t like them))) I baked it with first grade flour, so it’s not so white, but so tasty, and the crust is so crispy

Irish, did you bake it in a slow cooker? Gorgeous appearance, the rise is so high, the crust and sides are very crispy (even from here you can see), and the density of the crumb is so even, the aroma apparently lasted a long time, well done, smart girl!

Shurochka, there is no baking in the oven, in the bread molds the crust turned out really very crispy) we practically don’t buy bread anymore, homemade is much tastier
