Very tasty recipe. I have been preparing kutya using this recipe for several years now. My family are very happy. Everything is easy and simple, very quick to prepare :)

In Ukraine, kutya is prepared from wheat with mako, honey, raisins and filled with dried fruit uzvar, kutya is prepared for Christmas, and this version is called kolev and is prepared for funerals. Although, I find both options delicious.

Kutya really turns out delicious. I was especially surprised by the raisins - during frying, they swell and become like grapes.

I also like kutya with rice. And I also add prunes. I sprinkle chopped roasted walnuts on top and pour honey diluted in water over them.
