Rice balls with shrimps Japanese style

Amazingly delicious traditional Japanese dish! Onigiri (or rice balls), a traditional Japanese dish. In terms of its purpose, onigiri is close to a sandwich. It is eaten cold and most often outside the home - at work, at school, or while traveling. But Russian people like to do everything exactly the opposite, which is why, after reading this simple culinary recipe in one of my favorite publications, I decided to cook this food for my friends who came to visit me. So, the recipe for preparing rice balls is so simple that, perhaps, even a child can prepare this dish. Well, let's get started!

Onigiri is never made with vinegar, no matter how “original” the cook calls himself, it’s like calling beets baked in the oven “borscht”

Any sushi (be it rolls or onigiri) needs a seasoning for rice: sugar, salt, rice. vinegar). This is how they prepare it in Japan. I would not claim something that I myself did not try in the original. So this is simply, perhaps, the Russian version.
