    How to cook macaroni and cheese in the microwave? Prepare all the necessary products. Pasta can be used in any shape: fusilli, penne, conchiglioni, bows and others. Take pasta made from durum wheat - they are healthier. I have spaghetti - my kids love it, but I will break it into several pieces. Also, for cooking in the microwave, I recommend pasta, which does not cook for long. Cheese can be of any variety: hard and soft, mozzarella and even blue cheese.

    Prepare dishes that can be used in the microwave. Let me remind you that you cannot take metal utensils or utensils with gilded designs. But ceramic, porcelain and glass are perfect. Take a bowl that is deep enough, because essentially the pasta will be cooked in it. Pour filtered or bottled water into the bowl in which you will cook the pasta.

    Pasta is usually placed in boiling water, so we need to bring the water to a boil. Place the plate in the microwave for about 3-5 minutes. At power 1000 in my microwave, water boiled in 5 minutes

    Take out a bowl of boiling water and add the pasta to it. I broke the spaghetti into 3 parts, otherwise they simply would not have fit into the bowl. Return the dishes to the microwave and cook at a lower power (optimally 400-600). The time will depend on the operating characteristics of your equipment; I usually add 2 minutes to the time indicated on the package. I cooked spaghetti that took 7 minutes in the microwave in 9 minutes.

I never thought you could cook macaroni and cheese in the microwave. Don't heat it up, just cook it! I tried this recipe out of curiosity, and not out of necessity) Although the result of a successful experiment was happily eaten by my daughter, who loves macaroni cheese) For this dish, I also took spaghetti, only I broke it into 3-4 pieces. I cooked it in a special plastic saucepan for the microwave. My equipment is not very powerful, only 750 W. Therefore, it took more time for the water to boil. But the spaghetti was cooked for exactly 10 minutes (8 2). There was absolutely no water left, there was nothing to drain. At the same time, the spaghetti did not boil over, remained “crumbly” and completely cooked. I put them on a plate, sprinkled them with cheese and heated them for another 30 seconds in the microwave. I'm happy with the result, everything worked out!

I only needed one serving of spaghetti, so I decided to use the microwave. I couldn’t immediately guess the right amount of water; after 5 minutes I had to add boiling water from the kettle. It turned out delicious with cheese, the recipe is not troublesome, thanks to the author.
