Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Divide unwashed corn into 3 components: leaves, the cobs themselves and hairs. We don’t throw anything away, except maybe the top leaves if they are spoiled.
STEP 2

We line the bottom and walls of the pan with leaves so that the cobs do not come into contact with the walls during cooking.
STEP 3

Cover the top with leaves and place hairs. Fill with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 hour over low heat, covered. Remove, grease with a thin layer of butter, add salt if desired. Bon appetit!
