Classic Cosmopolitan cocktail

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a classic Cosmopolitan cocktail? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Prepare ice from filtered water in advance. It is advisable to have a sufficient supply of ice in the freezer at all times. It is convenient to use special bags for making ice.
STEP 2

Measure liquid ingredients according to recipe.
STEP 3

Pre-chill the glass (martinka). Fill with ice, 100g. If there are a lot of glasses, it’s convenient to put everything on a tray and cool it in the refrigerator, the effect will be no worse.
STEP 4

Pour 100 grams of ice into a shaker.
STEP 5

Then, one by one, add lime or lemon juice, lemon vodka (you can use any kind), cranberry juice (you can use ready-made fruit juice) and Cointreau orange liqueur. Close the shaker and shake vigorously, whisking and mixing everything. Alcoholic cocktail Cosmopolitan at home is ready!
STEP 6

Free the glass from ice and pour the cocktail through filtering. Serve immediately. It is not customary to decorate a glass with Cosmopolitan; in rare cases, you can put a thin slice of lime, lemon or orange on one of its walls. For me, serving with a slice of citrus is more desirable and positive. If desired, you can drink it through a short straw. Be careful when drinking alcoholic beverages!
