Apples with sugar and water in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

For cooking you will need, in fact, apples and sugar. Dense apples with a hard skin are best suited for baking. Varieties like Granny Smith or Red Chief. Golden will also go well, Glory to the Winners. This recipe uses Granny Smith apples.
STEP 2

The apples need to be washed well, the stem removed and the top of the apple cut off to about 1 centimeter thick.
STEP 3

Next, you need to remove the core first with a knife and then with a teaspoon. The recess should not be too deep, otherwise the syrup will leak out.
STEP 4

Pour 2 teaspoons of sugar into each apple hole.
STEP 5

Place all our apples in a baking dish and ALWAYS pour in some water.
STEP 6

Place in an oven preheated to 180°C. Baking time will depend on the variety and size of apples, it can take from 20 to 50 minutes. That's it, our dessert is ready. Bon appetit!
