I didn’t know before that viburnum decoction helps with coughs. It turns out that the medicine was always at hand - in the refrigerator. Noticing the beginning of a cough, I immediately prepared a decoction for myself according to the first recipe. I defrosted the berries by placing them in a warm place. I ground them, put them in a small ladle, poured a glass of boiling water and placed them in a water bath for 15 minutes. I strained it and tried it. It tastes a bit sour for me. Therefore, I diluted the broth with boiled water and drank it throughout the day. Thank you very much for the recipe!

Viburnum decoction is useful not only for colds, it is good for the prevention of many diseases. This is an excellent tonic, choleretic, sedative, diuretic, and anti-inflammatory agent. I liked that the author of the recipe presented several ways to brew berries. I want to show you how I prepare a vitamin drink. I pour boiling water over my homemade berries and honey in a French press. On top I put on an oven mitt, which I don’t use in everyday life; it has been replaced by silicone oven mitts. I let the drink sit until it becomes drinkable. In this kind of thermos, this takes about half an hour. The decoction, depending on the number of berries, can be quite rich, then I add a little water and sugar, viburnum still does not completely lose its bitterness even after cold weather. But it is precisely for this extraordinary taste that I like it. Choose acceptable options for steaming viburnum and be always healthy and happy!

The easiest way to get rid of cough at all times was viburnum. I always prepare the decoction according to the first recipe. Many family members are allergic to honey, so I pour the ground berries with baby whale and heat them in a water bath. I myself take the infusion as a sedative, it helps.
