On honey spas, I traditionally prepare for myself, my family and relatives an old Russian non-alcoholic drink - honey sbiten. They always drink it hot and usually in the fresh air. But we deviate a little from the usual traditions and simply use it during or after a meal - a family lunch or dinner. Now I will share with you a simple culinary recipe for this non-alcoholic drink.
Step-by-step preparation

Dissolve honey in water.
STEP 3

Dissolve sugar in water.
STEP 4

Let's boil the honey a little.
STEP 5

Boil sugar and water.
STEP 6

Combine two syrups.
STEP 7

Cook the spices for 10 minutes.
STEP 8

Strain and pour into syrup.
STEP 9

Sweet sbiten is ready!

In less than half an hour you got a delicious drink! It's too sweet for my taste, I think there was too much sugar here. Or maybe I just put in a lot of honey. Either way, it's easy to fix by adding a little water. Try it, you will like it!

Great recipe, delicious!! But it seems to me that it is better to add honey at the end of preparation to a slightly cooled drink... Well, so that the beneficial, healing properties of honey do not disappear during cooking!
