STEP 1
How to make onions with honey? Prepare the necessary products. Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and dry with paper or kitchen towel. Take natural, good quality honey from a trusted manufacturer.
STEP 2
Cut the onion into large pieces and place in the chopper bowl.
STEP 3
Make a fine puree. Onions can be chopped in other ways - grate them on a fine grater, pass them through a meat grinder, or put them in a blender.
STEP 4
Place onion puree into a glass glass or cup and add honey. It is better if the honey is liquid, then it will be easier to stir.
STEP 5
Mix thoroughly and cover with a lid. Do not cook large quantities of onions with honey, because the mixture has a shelf life of 24 hours. Store the product in the refrigerator. Before taking, take out the required amount in advance and keep it at room temperature for approximately 20-30 minutes to warm up.
STEP 6
To relieve cough, take with stirring each time, as the honey sinks down - adults 1 tbsp. 3 times a day, no more than 60 ml per day. For older children, 1 tsp. 3 times a day, but not more than 30 ml. It is best to take the product after meals so as not to irritate the gastric mucosa and wash it down with water. Young children are not recommended to take this composition.
STEP 7
And remember that onions and honey are taken to relieve cough. This mixture does not replace prescribed treatment. Take with caution for those with increased allergies, patients with diabetes mellitus and diseases of the digestive system.
