STEP 1

How to bake apples with honey in the microwave, whole in the peel? To prepare the dessert you only need two ingredients: sweet and sour apples and honey. You can add cinnamon at the end for taste, but this is not necessary.
STEP 2

So, wash ripe apples, without dents or scratches, under running water. The variety can be chosen to suit your taste. For example, Simirenko, Pink Lady and even Granny Smith are suitable. Select a heat-resistant, microwave-safe, high-sided baking dish for the size and quantity of apples. It is also important to check in advance whether the mold is the right size for your microwave model.
STEP 3

Next, I recommend trimming the bottom of the apple so that it stands upright in the pan.
STEP 4

Then turn the apple over and cut about half a centimeter off the side of the stack. This part will also bake, so don't throw it away.
STEP 5

Using a small sharp knife, cut a shallow crater down the center. This will be the place for honey.
STEP 6

To prevent the apple peel from bursting during baking, use a toothpick to make several punctures around the entire perimeter of the apple peel in a chaotic manner. When finished they will not be noticeable. Repeat steps 3-6 for the remaining apples and place them upright in the previously prepared pan.
STEP 7

Place a heaping teaspoon of honey in the middle of each apple.
STEP 8

Cover the apples with the cut lids and bake in the microwave for 15 minutes at 800 watts. You can cover the apples with a microwave-safe lid, but then make sure it can withstand the long baking time. Depending on the factory settings of different microwave ovens, it may take a little more or a little less time. You need to focus on the appearance of the apples (the skin should become wrinkled) and the pulp inside should be soft.
