I made Ukrainian dumplings for the first time when I was married for several months. My husband and father-in-law asked me to cook this meal. Without showing that I was doing this for the first time, I started making the dough at random. Then, when everyone was already eating at the table, they asked me whose culinary recipe I used to prepare this dish. I’m not accustomed to lying, that’s why I said – according to my recipe! As it turned out later, they really liked the dumplings. And all because, as I later realized, I forgot to put... water in the dough.
