Rose jam

The heavenly aroma of this jam drives you crazy. I think every girl will never in her life refuse a bouquet of roses: white or red, large or small, Dutch or country. But not everyone knows that these flowers can also be eaten and the most varied and delicious food can be prepared from them. Now I would like to share with you a culinary recipe for a very exotic delicacy called rose petal jam.

The petals are candied for two days. The syrup is prepared quite quickly, about 10-15 minutes. I cooked the petals a little longer than regular jam - 1.5 hours. As a result, the jam turned out thick and tasty.

Yulia Mtsensk, a very necessary recipe! I have roses growing at my dacha, and I just dried the petals, and then brewed tea, or added them to the water in the bathroom, but how nice it is to enjoy such jam in winter. Now I’ll definitely make jam, I’ll just wait until summer !
