Black radish with honey for colds

Proven effective cough remedy!!! My mother used radish and honey to treat my cough when I was a child. To prepare black radish with natural honey, no special knowledge or skills are required. The only important condition is that it is better to prepare such a product immediately before use.

To be honest, I have never heard that you can eat black radish with honey for a cold. At the first sign of a cold, my mother gave my brother and me viburnum to drink. But somehow we never even used radish in our family. But now I had the chance to experience the effect of such a folk remedy on myself. For cooking, I chose the second method. I grated one third of a medium-sized radish on a fine grater and mixed it with one dessert spoon of flower honey. I wrapped the bowl with the resulting mixture in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for three hours (even a little more). The product turned out amazing. It doesn’t completely relieve coughs and sore throats, but it does provide significant relief, and quickly. I didn't expect such an effect. Plus, the taste of radish with honey is very pleasant: sweet and slightly hot. For me, this recipe is a real discovery. Thanks a lot!

Wonderful recipe. My mother also taught me how to make cough syrup this way. It’s just that we cut out a small depression in the radish, where the juice and honey were collected in just the right amount per serving. Then we added honey to the next serving - a new portion. So everything is correct. Honey is added and juice appears, as it is in the pulp of the root crop and gradually flows into the hole. And when all the pulp was taken out, there was less juice. Thanks again for the publication. Very healthy and tasty. And we also grated carrots with sugar (syrup) and baked them as cough drops.
