I never thought that you could make compote from bananas. And I absolutely didn’t expect that it could turn out so tasty. We had a lot of bananas, and everyone was so full of them that the last three remained untouched for several days. The skins on them had already begun to turn black, and I thought it was time to do something with them, otherwise I would just have to throw them away. When I found a recipe for banana compote made from bananas, I was very surprised, but still decided to make it. I put bananas without peel. And I added less sugar. According to calculations, 300 grams of bananas yielded 300 grams of sugar. I added only 200 (I think it could have been 150). The compote turned out delicious, with a bright banana taste. The children are delighted with it. Even my husband liked the compote, which surprised me greatly. I highly recommend it for cooking. Thanks for the recipe!

The banana compote is just super, I really liked it. Although the child didn’t appreciate it...probably because of the taste and color. But I'm delighted! Thank you

For my taste, we need less sugar, thank God we didn’t have enough for the full volume

Something I didn’t understand... are bananas boiled in the gallery with the peel on? Shouldn't you clean them first? Why boil the peel? Is there anything useful in it?

If you add bananas without peels, they will boil and you will end up with mashed potatoes rather than compote. Although this is also delicious.
