I made a hot dessert baked quince with walnuts. I greased the mold with butter and laid out the quince cut into thin slices. I poured liquid honey on top. I didn’t sprinkle it with sugar; in my opinion, the sweetness of the quince and honey was enough. When I put the finished slices on a plate, I poured the remaining liquid over them and sprinkled them with nuts. Everyone liked the dessert more when it was cold than when it was hot. I had never even thought about baking quince before, I just didn’t consider the possibility. But in vain! For my taste, baked quince combined the best flavors of baked apple and pear: tenderness of the pulp interspersed with grains. It turned out not as monotonous as that of an apple, not as rough as that of a pear. I did not use sugar when preparing it, I added honey when serving. To balance the taste, I added a sour note from curdled milk. Delight! There is one benefit for health, and a holiday for the taste buds! Thanks to the author for the idea.
