Explosion on honey

A truly winter drink will warm you up on Epiphany evenings! Vzvar is an old Russian dish that is prepared for Christmas and Christmas Eve. A decoction is prepared using honey or a decoction of dried fruits. The broth differs from compote in its more concentrated and sweeter taste. At times the broth is cooked with the addition of wine and rice.

It turns out to be a very healthy drink, during the cold season it’s generally a great thing, here you have honey and dried apricots, full of vitamins for the immune system!!

I think it’s better to add honey to the prepared broth, which is made unsweetened. this way everything useful will remain in the honey! if you boil it, everything useful will be destroyed ((

I would also add honey to a ready-made hot drink, so as not to spoil the properties of honey. Honey already heats up very quickly; it boils at 60 degrees; in a hot drink it will immediately melt and dissolve, and I think there’s simply no need to boil it again. You can also add raisins to this drink, which won’t be bad either.

girls, I heard that heat treatment does not destroy vitamins, even vitamin S. I don’t remember reading it somewhere, or watching it on TV, it seems like this is a mistaken opinion... although anything can happen. it's probably better to play it safe

The brew turned out to be very sweet to taste, just for those who like something sweeter) I’ve never cooked such things with honey, next time I’ll put less, but the aroma of the drink is wonderful, honey and vanilla are an original combination, and my father-in-law even suggested that it’s alcoholic explosion)))
