How to brew dried rose hips without a thermos
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to brew rose hips without a thermos? Prepare everything you need. Rinse the rose hips and dry with napkins. The container in which we will brew rose hips can be anything but aluminum. I usually use a glass teapot with a brewing strainer.
STEP 2
Lightly mash the rose hips in a mortar. You can skip this step and brew the whole rosehip, only in this case you should slightly increase the infusion time of the drink.
STEP 3
Pour boiling water over the kettle so that the bottom and walls are not cold. Place the rose hips in the kettle. I had several fresh berries on hand and used them too.
STEP 4
Pour boiling water over the berries. It is better to use bottled or filtered water for brewing. Tap water will also work if you use it for drinking.
STEP 5
Close the kettle with a lid and wrap it in a warm small blanket or towel. Let it sit like this for at least one hour.
STEP 6
The healing drink is ready!
STEP 7
Can be consumed warm or cooled.
