White sugar icing for baking with lemon juice

A simple white frosting recipe. Tasty and fast! Every New Year, I always prepare food such as sugar-coated cookies for the youngest guests. Children really like everything bright, attractive and sweet. And if cookies can be shortbread, biscuit, oatmeal or any other, and their culinary recipes are not so difficult to find. But with regard to icing sugar, things are different. I had to work hard to find a method of preparing it that suited me, and now I will share it with you.

The sugar icing turned out to be not white at all, but no less beautiful and tasty for that! I was really afraid to pour a lot of dye, so the one that was called lilac turned out to be bright pink

Yes, and instead of heating the icing over the fire, I did it in the microwave - very convenient!

The recipe says lemon syrup, but you just squeeze out lemon juice, but this is not the same thing.

Does this glaze crumble or not?

The recipe contains powdered sugar, and the step-by-step photos show sugar. And won't you accidentally get caramel instead of glaze if you cook it for 5-7 minutes? And I understand that the main photo does not correspond to the recipe?
