Rose hip decoction
A tonic, vitamin decoction will restore strength and put you back on your feet.
I prepare rosehip decoction, the recipe for which I will now share with you, quite often every winter. I do this because, alas, food in winter cannot provide us with all the vitamins we need, but this decoction, rich in vitamin C, will ensure health and excellent well-being.

I recently collected and dried rosehips, it’s time to fortify the body and prepare a rose hips product. The process is simple, but quite lengthy. To begin with, I measured the amount of water and rose hips, it’s easy to do. For 100 g of fruit 1 liter. water. I took half as much. Boil over medium heat for 15 minutes. I decided to insist not in a jar, but in a thermos. I poured the decoction into it along with rose hips and left it overnight. In the morning, all that remains is to strain the broth and add sugar. The amount of sugar should be adjusted to your taste; I needed a little more than in the recipe. If the drink turns out to be very thick, you can dilute it with boiled water, as I did for my daughter. Everyone liked the sour vitamin drink.

I am glad that in our Country there are still people who care about their health, rosehip decoction is useful even for children, it has everything necessary to support the immune system, it can be drunk both cold and hot (which I like more ), we harvest these berries every year, dry them and then brew and drink them all winter, this drink is especially desirable in the bathhouse, it quenches thirst very well. When it brews, its color resembles expensive cognac, so beautiful and rich!
