Zucchini in the oven with cheese and garlic PP

STEP 1

How to bake PP zucchini with cheese and garlic in the oven? Prepare all ingredients according to the list. For the recipe, it is better to take young zucchini with thin skin. Any cheese will suit your taste. This time I used store-bought grated Gouda cheese.
STEP 2

So, grate the cheese on a grater with medium or fine teeth. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Mix grated cheese and chopped garlic. This will make it easier to distribute the cheese and garlic on the surface of the zucchini. I often use garlic powder for recipes; it mixes evenly with grated cheese and makes cooking in the future much more convenient.
STEP 3

Add your favorite spices to the cheese. You can use ground paprika, dry basil and thyme. I took 0.25 tsp of each seasoning. Mix everything well until smooth.
STEP 4

Rinse and dry the zucchini. Cut off the attachment points of the stalk. If you have mature zucchini, peel off the skin and remove the seeds inside. Cut the vegetable into thin slices, as in the photo.
STEP 5

Place the zucchini in a baking dish. Drizzle olive or vegetable oil on top. Add salt to taste if necessary. I usually don’t add salt since the cheese itself is salty.
STEP 6

Sprinkle an even layer of herbed cheese and garlic on top. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven and leave until done. The time and temperature depend entirely on the capabilities of your oven. I baked at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, using the “top-bottom” mode, then set the “convection” mode and left for another 5 minutes until the cheese browned.
STEP 7

Garnish the finished dish with fresh herbs and serve.
STEP 8

Zucchini in the oven with cheese and garlic is very tasty hot or cold.
