  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make sandwiches in a frying pan with sausage? Prepare all the indicated ingredients. I took white bread, but you can use any bread you like, about eight slices. My sausage is semi-smoked with fat, but you can use any other sausage. I take dill from the greens, but you can add any greens to your taste. You can learn how to choose the right frying pan from the article on the intricacies of choosing a frying pan. The link is at the end of the recipe.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the potatoes in running water with a brush, remove the skins and dry. Grate raw potatoes into a deep bowl using a coarse grater. Remove the selected semi-smoked sausage from the packaging, remove the film and grate on a coarse grater. Add sausage to potatoes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash fresh dill in running water and dry. Add chopped dill to a bowl, beat in a raw egg, salt and pepper to taste (if necessary). Mix the mixture thoroughly. Be sure to wash the egg first, as there may be harmful bacteria on its surface.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cut the white bread into slices 1 - 1.5 cm thick. Spoon the prepared mixture onto each slice, lightly pressing it onto the bread. So alternately distribute the entire mass over all pieces of bread.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Heat the selected frying pan over high heat, reduce the heat and pour in a little vegetable oil. If you are confident in your frying pan, then you don’t need to add oil (the sausage contains fat and it may be enough for frying sandwiches). Quickly place the sandwiches on the pan with the filling down, but leave room to easily turn them over. Fry the sandwiches on this side for several minutes until golden brown.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then carefully turn the sandwiches over to the other side using a silicone spatula. There is no need to add oil here. The sandwiches themselves, if the frying pan is chosen correctly, can easily be turned over, keeping the filling on the bread. Fry the sandwiches on this side for a few more minutes until the bread is browned.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the finished sandwiches with sausage and potatoes on a plate. Fry all the preparations in this way. Sandwiches with sausage, potatoes and eggs can be served hot, but they are also very tasty when cooled. When serving, sandwiches can be sprinkled with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!

I often make these sandwiches for a snack or quick dinner. Nourishing, tasty and simple. The sausage can be any kind, I like the option with boiled sausage.

Quite often I make hot sandwiches, but I was hesitant with potatoes; it always seemed like they wouldn’t cook through. I looked and looked at them and still cooked them) I grated the potatoes on a coarse grater, I also grated the sausage, so the filling looks more harmonious) I had the bread in the form of buns, I cut them lengthwise into four parts. To fry sandwiches accurately, you need to turn them over very quickly. I placed the sandwich on its edge and quickly turned it over. I noticed that those sandwiches that I didn’t press into the pan had the filling come off a little. I came to the conclusion that you need to press firmly so that the filling adheres to the bread. The potatoes were perfectly fried, the sausage was also deliciously browned. Very similar to potato pancakes on toast) The sandwiches are just fire, delicious! I think you can add a little pickled cucumber to the filling, also grated. We left the fragrant and satisfying sandwiches instantly, especially since they are simply delicious when hot. The recipe is excellent, I recommend it)

What wonderful sandwiches I made in a frying pan with sausage using this recipe!!! The only thing is that I decided to use toast bread instead of a bun. It weighs lighter than a classic loaf, so for this amount of filling I only needed 120 grams of bread, which is 4 large slices. I was very afraid that the potatoes would be raw, but in vain. Due to the fact that the potatoes are grated, they cook very quickly. Unfortunately, my sausage didn't produce much fat, so I had to add oil a little at a time. I advise you to eat such sandwiches right away, otherwise they will later become limp and not crunchy, and believe me, this is very tasty!
