Step-by-step preparation

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fish in cream sauce? Prepare your ingredients. You can take any red fish, as long as it is a fillet. Wash the fish and greens well and dry.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Salt the red fish fillet and sprinkle with ground pepper. Place the fillet in a baking dish. Place thyme sprigs on top. Bake the fish in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. Keep in the switched off oven for another 15 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Prepare the ingredients for the sauce. Cream can be of any fat content, but the higher it is, the richer the taste will be. Also choose processed cheese to suit your taste, but take it without additives. You can replace olive oil with another vegetable oil.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the garlic and chop finely.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry chopped garlic in it until a bright aroma appears. Don’t fry for very long, as the garlic starts to burn quite quickly, and we don’t need that kind of garlic in the sauce.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While stirring, pour the cream into the pan. Simmer, stirring, over low heat for about 10 minutes. The olive oil remaining in the pan when frying the garlic should be completely combined with the cream.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add melted cheese to the pan and stir until smooth. You can cut it into pieces, but it will disperse quickly from exposure to temperature.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Finely chop the washed and dried dill.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Remove the fish from the oven and place on a plate. Sprinkle dill on top and pour cream sauce over it. Bon appetit!

Red fish is always delicious, but with this sauce, I think it will be even tastier! Thank you! I bake red fish a little differently - with spices, onions and lemon. Also an excellent result!

Salmon in cream sauce is truly incredible! I advise you to cook salmon or Atlantic trout, because the fish turns out really unusually juicy and soft. It will also be tasty with pink salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, and chum salmon, but not as juicy and tender. The sauce is a separate “song”. It pairs perfectly and complements the flavor of the salmon perfectly. The combination and serving of fish with sauce and dill is very winning. My husband was delighted! I’m putting the recipe in my piggy bank
