STEP 1

How to fry pumpkin with garlic in a frying pan? Prepare your food. For such a dish, it is better to choose non-sweet varieties of pumpkin. Wash the pumpkin, cut it, cut off the peel and remove the core and seeds. Do not throw away the seeds, dry them in a dry frying pan or in the oven - they are very healthy and tasty.
STEP 2

Cut the pumpkin pulp into small cubes or thin slices, as you prefer. To make the pumpkin appetizer more satisfying and with a pleasant crispy crust (which is perfect for foamy drinks), each piece of pumpkin can be rolled in flour, but in this version the appetizer will turn out more calorie.
STEP 3

Peel the garlic and pass through a press or grate on a fine grater.
STEP 4

Some people do not like the specific natural taste of pumpkin in the finished dish; it can be masked by using aromatic herbs and seasoning, for example, a pumpkin appetizer will acquire a pleasant flavor by adding a few sprigs of parsley and dill.
STEP 5

Pour vegetable oil for frying into a frying pan and heat it. Place pumpkin pieces on heated oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fry them until golden brown on one side.

Reduce heat to medium and fry on the second side until lightly browned. Sprinkle grated garlic on top of the pumpkin slices. Keep the pumpkin on the heat for a couple more minutes and then remove from the pan. Those who like the sharp and piquant taste of fresh garlic can leave some of the grated garlic to sprinkle on the finished dish.
STEP 7

Place fried pumpkin pieces on a plate. Sprinkle the pumpkin with chopped garlic and fresh parsley and dill on top. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
