  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to marinate cheese? Prepare your ingredients. You can marinate almost any cheese in this way: mozzarella (brine and regular), feta cheese, etc. I used regular hard cheese.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the cheese into small cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the chili pepper, dry it and cut it into slices. To make the cheese not too spicy, the seeds can be removed if desired. I used two types of chili peppers - green and red. Peel the garlic and cut into petals.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place cheese, herbs, chili pepper, and garlic in a prepared, clean, dry jar, alternating.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour olive oil over the cheese. You may need a little more or a little less, depending on the volume of the selected container.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Close the jar with a lid and put it in a cool place for 2-3 days. During this time, the cheese will be saturated with oil and spices, it will become aromatic and spicy, you can taste it. Store marinated cheese in the refrigerator for no longer than 2-3 weeks.

Cool appetizer for the table! You can also make a chic snack from hard cheese - breaded fried cheese. Simple and very tasty!

On the site I came across a recipe for marinated cheese. And he seemed so beautiful and appetizing to me in the photo that I decided to repeat it. Moreover, in my refrigerator there was a piece of hard cheese with an inexpressive taste. I took a half liter jar, just enough for all the cubes to fit into it. I cut the cheese into pieces with a side of about 1.5 cm. I cut the green hot pepper into rings, the red one into small pieces, and the garlic into slices. I didn’t have any herbs and couldn’t find them in dried form. But I have a mixture of peppers, mustard seeds and paprika in the grinder. I put all this beauty in a jar and filled it with olive oil. The cheese was infused for three days. During this time it became very aromatic and moderately spicy. Looks bright and beautiful! You can add it to salads and eat it just like that. The only negative is that it’s a bit greasy for me, but my husband liked it, it’s olive oil)). As soon as I run out of cheese, I will season vegetable salads with aromatic oil. Thanks for the recipe!
