You can fry tomatoes with garlic not only in vegetable oil, but also as a healthier option - in olive oil, and in butter - it will be more flavorful, but also higher in calories.

    Wash the tomatoes, let the water drain or dry with paper towels. Cut the tomatoes into slices about one centimeter thick. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Heat it well, place the tomato slices on the heated oil. Reduce the heat to medium, fry the tomatoes on one side for about two minutes, without covering the pan with a lid, otherwise the tomatoes will release juice and you will get tomato paste.

    While the tomatoes are roasting, prepare the garlic. Peel the garlic cloves from their membranes and cut them into thin slices. Garlic will give this dish an appetizing aroma and piquant taste.

    Remove the tomatoes and garlic from the frying pan, place them on a plate, and sprinkle finely chopped fresh herbs on top of the dish. If desired, this dish can be served with any sauce to taste or mayonnaise, meat addition and fresh bread. When I saw this appetizer on the website, I thought it was very easy and simple) But, I had the last fresh tomatoes and garlic left. Why not try it?) During the frying process, I realized that my tomatoes were too ripe and were empty inside. However, they were fried and I had to very carefully turn them over with a spatula. It is, of course, better to take dense, almost ripe fruits for this dish. With the fried garlic, the tomatoes acquired a wonderful appetizing aroma. Placed the finished tomatoes on a plate and garnished with purple onion rings and chopped parsley. Sprinkled pepper and sea salt from the grinder on top. It's actually very tasty! I wanted to leave the appetizer for my husband for dinner, but, to be honest, I added a drop of mayonnaise and ate it myself with a piece of baguette) Thank you for an unusual dish made from ordinary products.

Everything ingenious is simple! The recipe was amazing in its simplicity. Tomatoes smell very appetizing and garlic contributes to this.
