    Cut the chicken into equal-sized portions. Rinse the meat, dry with paper towels and place in a deep bowl. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste.     Mix everything well and leave to marinate for half an hour to an hour at room temperature.

    Remove outer leaves from cabbage. Rinse the head of cabbage and dry it. Cut the cabbage into strips with a knife. Don't make the stripes too thin.

    Peel the carrots and onions. Cut the onion into half rings or cubes, and grate the carrots on a grater with large teeth. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Sauté the vegetables until the onion is translucent.

I baked at 200 degrees for about 50 minutes. At the end of cooking, I turned on the convection mode and left for another 10 minutes until the chicken was browned. For dinner I cooked chicken with cabbage in the oven using this recipe. I would never have thought that these products could be baked together) Usually chicken is combined with potatoes, rice or buckwheat. I decided to try it. Only I wanted to serve the side dish a little differently. I didn’t cut the cabbage into noodles, but cut it into slices so that each slice had part of the stalk. She holds the leaves together and gets a whole piece. I salted the cabbage and placed fried onions and carrots on top. Next, I laid out the chicken as in the recipe. I had a whole chicken, used the breasts in another dish, and for this I cut the rest of the carcass into portions, marinated it and laid it on top of the vegetables. I baked it for one hour at 200°, I didn’t turn on the grill, the dish was already ready. I didn't even expect it to turn out so delicious! The cabbage was soaked through with meat juice and marinade, incredibly tasty! At the same time, it did not fall apart, it remained in pieces, and even crunched in places. The chicken was well browned, also tasty, aromatic, soaked in a delicious marinade) This is an amazing dish, I will cook it often from now on)
