Chicken legs in breadcrumbs in a frying pan

STEP 1

How to fry chicken in breadcrumbs? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Clean the chicken, wash well, dry and cut into portions. Different parts of the carcass are suitable: drumsticks, thighs, wings. If you use wings, cut off the tips. You can change the set of spices to suit your taste preferences. Prepare a plate with flour.

First, marinate the meat. I took the legs. Place them in a wide bowl and season with salt.
STEP 3

Squeeze the juice from a third of a lemon. I got 1 tablespoon. Pour this juice over the meat.

Add the pressed garlic.
STEP 5

Add a little red hot pepper and a mixture of peppers (mine is not hot).
STEP 6

Mix well, distributing the marinade evenly over all the drumsticks, and leave to marinate for 20 minutes, or overnight.

Separately, place breadcrumbs on a plate. Add paprika to them.
STEP 8

Add turmeric - the spices will give the chicken a beautiful color and a unique aroma when fried.

Add a little salt.

Mix the crackers and spices well. We make dry breading, which you can buy in the store, but it’s better to make it yourself.

Break the egg into a separate container and beat it a little with a fork.
STEP 12

Now we are all ready for the breading process!

Dredge each drumstick in flour.
STEP 14

Then roll in beaten egg on all sides.
STEP 15

Roll the legs in breadcrumbs.
STEP 16

And place the breaded legs on a cutting board, preparing them for subsequent frying.
STEP 17

When all the legs are breaded, you can proceed to the next stage - frying or baking in the oven (if you, of course, chose this cooking option).
STEP 18

Place the legs into a frying pan with heated vegetable oil. There should be quite a lot of oil so that the legs are well fried.
STEP 19

Fry the chicken over medium heat, covered, for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 20

Then turn over and fry on the other side.
STEP 21

Serve hot. Bon appetit!
