STEP 1

How to fry bread in an egg in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use absolutely any bread, depending on your taste and availability: white, rye, loaf, loaf or loaf. Cut the bread into pieces no thicker than one centimeter. If the pieces seem too big for your pan, you can cut them into a few more pieces.
STEP 2

Beat the chicken eggs into a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste. If you make sweet croutons from bread in egg, then instead of ground black pepper, add sugar to taste, salt will also need to be adjusted to taste. Using a fork, whisk or mixer, beat the eggs until the mixture is smooth and the whites are completely separated.
STEP 3

Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture; this must be done quickly so that the bread does not become too saturated with liquid inside, otherwise it will become very soggy and may not fry well. Just submerge a piece of bread for a few seconds and turn it over so that the bread is coated in the egg mixture on both sides.
STEP 4

Place the frying pan on the fire and pour in a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. If you want the bread to have a pleasant creamy taste and aroma, you can fry the bread in butter. Place the pieces of bread in the pan and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. 20 seconds on one side and 10 on the other is enough. To be sure the bread is cooked through, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for about 15 seconds.
STEP 5
