STEP 1

How to make a salad from boiled potatoes with pickled onions? First of all, prepare all the ingredients listed on the list. Take unrefined oil, it is what gives the finished dish a special zest.
STEP 2

Boil the potatoes. To do this, wash the tubers thoroughly to remove any remaining soil. Place the potatoes in a suitable size pan, cover with cold water and place on the stove. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the flame to moderate and cook the potatoes under a half-closed lid until tender. Boiling time depends on the size of the tubers and the type of potato. On average you will need from 10 to 20 minutes.
STEP 3

You can check readiness with a toothpick. Drain the boiling water and cool the potatoes. Peel the tubers.
STEP 4

Prepare a flavorful dressing. Pour unrefined sunflower oil, wine vinegar into a deep small plate and add ground allspice.
STEP 5

Peel the onion. To brighten the finished dish, I used red lettuce onions. You can take regular onion. Cut the onion into thin half rings or quarter rings. Add the onion to the oil and vinegar.
STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly and leave it this way for 5-10 minutes. During this time, the onions will marinate and become saturated with the aromas of sunflower oil.
STEP 7

Cut the cooled potatoes into small cubes or bars, as you prefer. Don't cut the potatoes too small, otherwise the salad will look like porridge. Place the potatoes in a deep salad bowl and add salt to taste.
STEP 8

Next step is to add the pickled onions with oil and vinegar.
STEP 9

Rinse the greens, dry and chop finely. For the salad, I took green onions, dill and garlic.
STEP 10

Mix everything thoroughly and let the salad brew for about 10 minutes. Taste for salt and add more salt if necessary.
STEP 11

Done, ready to serve!
