    STEP 1

How to bake potatoes in the oven? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. It is preferable to choose potato tubers of the same size. You can replace fresh rosemary with dry herbs. Instead of olive oil, you can use any vegetable oil of your choice. You can also use special potato seasoning mixtures. Replace ground black pepper with paprika.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the potatoes, peel and rinse again in running water. If the potatoes are large, cut them in half, leaving small tubers whole.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the peeled potatoes in a saucepan, fill them with water so that it covers them completely. Add a pinch of salt and put on fire. Bring the water to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. We don't need to boil the potatoes until tender, keep that in mind.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Separate the head of garlic into cloves.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Remove the leaves from the rosemary sprigs. In a bowl, combine rosemary, unpeeled garlic and 2 tbsp. l. olive oil.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the boiled potatoes in a colander and leave for 5 minutes to allow the water to drain and the tubers to dry slightly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Place the potatoes in a baking dish greased with olive oil, add salt and pepper.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Place the pan with potatoes in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 20-30 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven. Remove the partially baked potatoes from the oven and lightly press the tubers with a potato masher.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Spread rosemary and garlic soaked in olive oil over the surface of the potatoes. Return the pan to the oven for another 25-40 minutes and bake the potatoes until golden brown.

Your favorite site will always help! I asked my husband to buy some potatoes, and he brought some kind of “peas”) And if they were young, I would bake them in their skins, but the potatoes turned out to be not very young. I started looking for a recipe to put it in. And I found the right one! But I didn’t want to peel it, so I washed the potatoes and boiled them until half cooked. Then I cleaned it, so the skin is easier to remove. I didn't have any fresh rosemary or garlic. So I did it a little differently. Directly in the form, I poured oil over the potatoes, sprinkled with garlic powder, smoked paprika, added a pinch of potato seasoning and dried rosemary. I love the combination of potatoes and rosemary! I mixed it all and baked it, putting a few garlic cloves on top so that they transferred their spicy aroma to the potatoes. After 30 minutes, I crushed the tubers with a masher, removed the arrows and baked for another 20 minutes. The baked potatoes in the oven turned out great! Beautiful, golden, very tasty with a spicy aftertaste. The aroma of garlic and rosemary is amazing. I always think that rosemary smells like pine and citrus, so I really like this fragrant bouquet. And it complements baked potatoes perfectly.
